Our Story
For a long time, I kept many ideas in my head instead of giving them the chance to become real. Okurek became my way of turning some of those ideas into something tangible — a small project built with care, curiosity, and a lot of learning along the way.
Okurek is starting out as a small line of made-to-order T-shirts, all designed by me here in the Czech Republic.
What’s next? I hope that one day this tiny, squishy Okurek will grow into something much bigger. I hope she’ll cross paths with inspiring people and, maybe, become a brand that can give back in ways I can’t even imagine yet.
On a personal level, I hope this project keeps reminding me that many things feel much scarier in our heads than they are in reality — and that small, imperfect steps still count.

For me, designing clothes is what a diary or a canvas is for other people—a way to express thoughts and feelings, to say things I can’t always put into words.
My hope is that when you wear Okurek, you feel like I do in my favorite colorful sweatpants, oversized tee, and Footshape trail shoes: relaxed, playful, totally at ease in my own skin—and confident.
I want to design clothes that make people feel good—and I want to feel good about how they’re made.
That’s why I chose a supplier who shares my values: caring for people and the planet,
minimizing waste by making each piece only when it’s actually ordered,
and paying fair wages to their employees in accordance with the Global Living Wage Standard.
I want to build a community of people who care for each other and for the world we share. As a small first step, I’m committing to donate 1% of Okurek’s annual sales directly to Nevypusť duši and Rare Impact fund—two organizations that raise awareness about mental health and help people find the tools they need to take care of their minds.
Vision
I dream of a world where mental health care is available to all.
